Forion Assists Arizona Business Community with Key Legislation
March 8, 2004 - Forion Technology Development is working with 15 state and national organizations in a landmark project to help key business legislation get passed. Three bills are currently before the Arizona State Senate Finance Committee: Senate Bill 1315, which would create a small business tax credit program, Senate Bill 1328, which will create a $50 million venture capital fund for Arizona businesses and Senate Bill 1401, which will establish the Arizona Venture Capital Access Program (Arizona capital formation incentives).
Forion is donating survey, analysis and reporting services and will send electronic surveys to more than 60,000 members of the 15 organizations. The surveys will be conducted using Forion’s Survey Dynamics service over a three day period. Results of the survey will be automatically tabulated by the Survey Dynamics reporting engine. The intent of the project is to gauge support in the business community for the pending legislation. The results will be presented to the participating organizations and to the Senate Finance Committee. “I think there is something quite remarkable happening here,” said Russ Carpenter, Partner in Scottsdale-based Forion. “This is a true grass-roots movement in the Arizona Business Community to get important legislation moving forward. Earnhardt Auto Dealerships use Survey Dynamics...
Earnhardt Auto Dealers, the largest car dealership in the world, has contracted with Forion Technology Development to use Survey Dynamics to conduct satisfaction follow-up surveys. Surveys will be sent to all customers who visit one of Earnhardt’s service departments that also have given Earnhardt their email address. Surveys will be automatically sent out every night. To achieve this automation, Survey Dynamics is integrated with ADP, the software program that Earnhardt uses to manage it’s clients.
Forion partners with Solartis on XTE project... 
Forion Technology Development, LLC has recently partnered with Miami, Florida-based Solartis Corporation to offer a complete booking engine/GDI access solution. Forion’s eXtensible travel engine (XTE) is a highly customizable hotel, air and automobile reservation system. The partnership with Solartis with enable XTE to book airline reservations with all airline GDIs via Solartis’ TravelGate GDI access system. Now, small to medium sized travel companies can afford their own booking system. |
